Welcome to MedChemify. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MedChemify platform at medchemify.com. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

MedChemify is operated from the United Kingdom. These Terms are governed by English law.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 16 years of age to use our services.
  • One account per person. Sharing account access is prohibited.

3. Subscription Terms

  • MedChemify offers an annual subscription plan providing access to all learning content, quizzes, and certificates.
  • Subscriptions are billed annually via Stripe. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
  • We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice before your renewal date.

4. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your profile page.
  • Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the platform until the end of your current billing period.
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.

5. Content Ownership

  • All learning content, including text, images, quizzes, molecular structures, and course materials, is the intellectual property of MedChemify.
  • Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content for educational purposes only.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
  • Certificates earned through MedChemify are for personal use and reflect completion of our learning programme.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to circumvent any access restrictions or security measures
  • Use automated tools to scrape or download content
  • Misrepresent your identity or qualifications
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

  • MedChemify is an educational platform. Our content is for learning purposes and does not constitute professional medical or pharmaceutical advice.
  • We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that all content is error-free or up to date.
  • The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English law, MedChemify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
